Pooch Patriot Return & Exchange Policy

At Pooch Patriot, we’re proud to serve Pooch Parents with a hassle-free return and exchange policy—because keeping tails wagging is what we do best.

We accept returns and exchanges on eligible items within 30 days of receipt, as long as they’re in like-new condition.

🐾 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must:

  • Be unpersonalized (customized items, like embroidered collars, are non-returnable unless defective)
  • Not be Clearance, Final Sale, or Open Box items
  • Include all original packaging, tags, and components
  • Show no signs of use (e.g., no dog fur, dander, dirt, stains, scratches, or odors)
  • Be unwashed and undamaged
  • Be returned within 30 days of receipt

🛁 Grooming Products

Due to hygiene reasons, opened or used grooming products (e.g., shampoos, brushes) are non-returnable unless defective.

👕 Apparel (Dog & Human)

Dog and human apparel must be unworn, unwashed, and free of odors or hair. We offer one free size exchange for apparel within 30 days, subject to eligibility.

🦴 Hard Goods

Our collars, leashes, and toys are built to last—but they’re not indestructible.
Returns arenot accepted for damage caused by chewing, rough use, or lack of supervision.

🔁 How to Start a Return or Exchange

  1. Email us at support@poochpatriot.com to initiate a return or exchange.
  2. Ship eligible items back within 30 days using a trackable carrier.
  3. Allow 3-5 business days for inspection and processing once we receive your return.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, and funds may take 5-10 business days to appear.

🔄7. Return Shipping – Clarity & Customer Incentive Highlight

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except for defective or incorrect items.
  • For orders over $50, we offer prepaid return labels within the contiguous U.S. Contact us to request one.
  • International customers cover return shipping and any customs/duties.
  • Choose store credit for a 10% bonus on your return value!

🐶 Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days.
We’ll gladly replace it or offer a refund.

🎁 Gift Returns

Gifts can be returned for store credit only within 30 days, as long as they meet our standard eligibility criteria.

📬 PO Boxes & Rejected Orders

We do not ship to PO Boxes.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address or rejected delivery, we’ll issue a refund minus original shipping costs once we receive the item.

Want us to reship? Contact us—we’ll gladly resend it once shipping is covered.

🎄 Holiday Returns

Items purchased betweenNovember 1 and December 31are eligible for return throughJanuary 31—because gifting should be stress-free.

At Pooch Patriot, we reserve the right to inspect returns and deny credit for items that don’t meet our return standards.

To protect all our customers, we may limit returns from accounts with excessive activity.
